Teen Boy Is Killed By What Fell From The Sky While He Was Innocently Playing Basketball

Tragedy struck in Indiana as 13-year-old Noah Inman lost his life while playing basketball with friends. A stray bullet fell from the sky, fatally striking him. Initially, witnesses thought it was a different medical incident, but doctors confirmed the bullet’s impact.

The police suspect the bullet was likely fired into the air, possibly during a celebration, akin to fireworks. Law enforcement in Hammond is on a mission to find the person responsible for this tragedy. Though not facing first or second-degree murder charges, they may be charged with manslaughter for discharging a firearm near the basketball court frequently used by children.

Hammond Mayor Tom McDermott Jr. called this a “ridiculous fluke” and urged responsible firearm usage. He emphasized that bullets shot into the air don’t disappear but can travel significant distances, posing a serious risk. The Hammond Police Department expressed condolences to Noah’s family and urged the public to use legal fireworks during celebrations, underscoring the severe consequences of such actions.
